Group DC-DC Converters

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, KEMET, Pulse) strives to support 90% of all the passive technologies required in circuit designs. DC-DC converters saturate the electronics industry and are used to either step or step down the voltage and current requirements of the next stage in the circuit. In every variation of the DC-DC converter, current sense resistors, diodes, inductors, precision voltage resistors, and capacitors are used.

AC Line Filters

KEMET AC Line Filters, also known as coils or chokes, suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) noise. All consumer electronics that use AC power need EMI suppression such as AC line filters. KEMET AC Line Filters are compact, low profile, and lightweight. These coils are available in a variety of form factors and heights, including split and non-split bobbin designs in common mode, as well as differential / normal mode, dual mode, and earth inductors.

Group Power Conversion Components

YAGEO Group (YAGEO, Pulse, KEMET) designs passive component technologies that are critical in power conversion systems, including safety, snubber, and DC link capacitors; current sense and power resistors; and magnetic components such as transformers, common mode chokes, and inductors. Normal / Differential Mode Coils

KEMET Normal / Differential Mode Coils feature various characteristics, sizes, and specifications. KEMET Normal / Differential Mode Coils deliver a rated current of up to 8A for SN coils and up to 30A for XXBC coils. Inductors

KEMET Inductors feature magnetic cores that are broadly classified into ferrite and metal types. The ferrite cores feature a high μ value and high inductance. Metal magnetic powder cores offer excellent saturation magnetic flux density, making them well-suited to larger currents. KEMET Inductors are designed to fit an expansive range of applications.

Automotive Powertrain Solutions

Group Switch Tank Converter Products

YAGEO Group (KEMET, YAGEO, Pulse) Switch Tank Converter (STC) Products are high-efficiency, high-density converters designed for non-isolated DC-DC applications. These devices operate by replacing the large magnetics typically used in converter designs with stacking voltages using switches and capacitors. The STC products are strategically placed between the input and DC-DC converter stages of the YAGEO group's Digital Architecture Passive Components. As a solution, these STC products take advantage of advanced semiconductor technology to support power supplies.

Group Input Stage Solutions

YAGEO Group (KEMET, YAGEO, Pulse) offers inductors, capacitors, and TVS diodes with a large variety of form factors and specifications. In a digital system, the input stage is the first step in ensuring data integrity, circuit efficiency, and safety protections. This is typically achieved with an inductor, capacitor, and a TVS diode for low-voltage systems.
