Gecko Screw-Lok Connectors

Harwin Gecko Screw-Lok (Gecko-SL) Connectors offer 1.25mm pitch and are available in several variations, including a male through-board connector at right angles to the PCB. This horizontal connector saves space above the PCB by routing the mating cables sideways or joining the PCBs with a 90-degree connection (ideal for motherboard to daughterboard). The horizontal connector is available in pin counts up to 50 and is fully compatible with other Gecko-SL products. Other Gecko-SL connectors include female and male vertical through-hole and surface-mount versions.

High-Reliability Connector Solutions

Harwin High-Reliability Connector Solutions include innovative products for reliable, high-performance connectivity to push the boundaries of size, weight and power (SWaP) optimization. These products have proven to perform in the most extreme conditions of shock, vibration, and temperature. These connector solutions feature high-reliability interconnect families, such as Gecko (1.25mm pitch), Datamate (2mm and 4mm pitch), M300 (3mm pitch), and Kona (8.5mm). EMI/RFI Shielding for High-Reliability Connectors

Harwin EMI/RFI Shielding for High-Reliability Connectors are made from aluminum alloy with electroless nickel plating to ensure strength and performance. The EMI/RFI shielding provides screening and increased durability for Gecko 1.25mm-pitch and Datamate 2mm-pitch high-reliability connector ranges. Harwin EMI/RFI Shielding is available in male or female cable options and male board mounts.

Gecko Screw-Lok Metal Backshells

Harwin Gecko Screw-Lok (Gecko-SL) Metal Backshells feature a nickel-plated aluminum hood that fits over male or female crimp housing with six to 50 contacts over two rows. These backshells are designed to be used with nickel-coated copper braids for EMC / RFI purposes, polymer braids for mechanical protection, and polyurethane-coated fiberglass braids for heat applications. Harwin Gecko-SL backshells offer a cable housing or through-board hood with a horizontal or straight connector orientation for 1.25mm pitch connectors. These metal backshells have a -65°C to +150°C operating temperature and are RoHS compliant.
