Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Amphe-Power® 5015 Connectors are durable, field-proven cylindrical connectors derived from the MIL-5015 family. This series features a wide range of shell styles enhanced with RADSOK high amperage contacts. The unique RADSOK design and construction technology provide an electrical contact interface that exceeds typical interconnect requirements. The hyperbolic lamella socket contact construction distributes normal forces over much of the mating pin surface for a smooth, even engagement effort. This design is ideal for vibration applications and provides resistance to typical fretting corrosion. RADSOK® Amphe-Power® Connectors

Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Amphe-Power® Connectors are medium- to heavy-duty cylindrical MIL-5015 connectors enhanced with RADSOK sockets and handle up to 50% higher amperages. The unique RADSOK design and construction technology create an electrical contact interface that exceeds typical interconnect requirements. The hyperbolic lamella socket contact construction distributes normal forces over a majority of the mating pin surface for smooth, even engagement effort. This force distribution also withstands vibration applications with resistance to typical fretting corrosion. Amphenol Industrial RADSOK Amphe-Power Connectors offer a high mating durability of 20,000 cycles.

AC Threaded Industrial Cylindrical Connectors

Amphenol Industrial AC Threaded Industrial Cylindrical Connectors are a commercial derivative of the MIL-DTL-5015 product used in military and industrial applications. These cost-effective connectors feature a fine threaded coupling for use in benign and harsh environments. Options include more than 275 insert arrangements ranging from 1 to 55 positions and up to 150A per contact. The available arrangements enable the mixing of power and signal contacts, signal only or power only. Contacts are available in solder, crimp, or PC termination with silver or gold plating. Thermocouple and coax contacts are also available. Amphenol Industrial AC Threaded Industrial Cylindrical Connectors operate in a -55°C to +125°C temperature range.

RADSOK® Connectors

Amphenol Industrial RADSOK® Connectors upgrade many core connectors by simply adding the RADSOK advantage. RADial SOcKet (RADSOK) is a socket cylinder within a female contact that has several equally spaced longitudinal beams twisted into a hyperbolic shape. As the male pin is inserted, axial members in the female half deflect, imparting high current flow across the connection with minimal voltage loss. The configuration ensures a large, coaxial, face-to-face surface area engagement and is ideal for crimp termination applications requiring repeated mating cycles and high current with a low millivolt drop.
